EZSaver - version 2.4

Thank you for downloading EZSaver.  If you haven't already, please 
run the Setup program (SETUP.EXE).  If you've never run EZSaver before,
Setup will create a small demo for you.

You can use EZSaver right away to make interesting screen savers
and multimedia presentations.  All you need are images, stored in
the Windows .BMP format (256-color images work best).  You can 
also use sound files (in Windows .WAV format) and even movie files 
(in Video for Windows .AVI format).  If a movie is a silent one, 
you can even have EZSaver play a separate sound file while the 
movie plays.

You create savers or presentations by giving EZSaver a list of 
image and/or movie files.  For each item in the list, you can 
control how long to display it, what animation effects to use, 
what background color to display, what sound file (if any) to 
play simultaneously, how to transistion to the next item in the 
list (fade out, etc.)....and more!

EZSaver can test the sequence of images, movies and sounds 
instantly.  The program runs through the list of items, then
repeats, until stopped by user input.

When you are satisfied with the sequence, you can save the entire 
screen saver into one file.  This file includes all images, movies
and sound files needed, plus all control information you have specified.
This output file can be in .SCR (screen saver) or .EXE (program)
format, depending upon your needs.  You can also save to a file
that does not contain all the support files, but instead reads them
from a hard drive, CD or network as needed.

A new (v2.4) "SlideShow" mode lets you build presentations which wait 
for user input (mouse clicks or pressed keys) before advancing to each 
image.

The Help file, EZSAVER.HLP, contains complete documentation for the 
program.  You can view this file using the icon that is installed
by Setup, or via the Help and Information buttons in EZSaver.

Setup:
------
The EZSaver logo screensaver is copied to the \WINDOWS directory 
by Setup.  Also, a new program group is created, and three icons 
added to it.  No other changes are made to your system by Setup.

If you used any previous v2.x version of EZSaver, Setup will also
copy your existing control options to the v2.4 section of your
\WINDOWS\CONTROL.INI file.  

If you have not tried EZSaver previously, Setup will create a simple 
demonstration, so that you can see how EZSaver works rigt away.
